How can interED assist me
for higher studies? |
|
A. interED
provides complete
assistance starting from course selection, admission, visa approval to
pre and post departure services.

Q.
Do the universities /colleges programs include fees for housing food and
books etc.?
|

A.
Fees mentioned for the
course are for providing tuition only. It does not include any other
charges with it. The only exception is for SWITZERLAND! It has been seen
that usually Switzerland receives tuition fees along with other charges
like housing fooding books etc.

Does the institutions that interED represents provide housing
facility for the students? |

A.
Yes ! Each and every university / College that we represent in our country
do provide housing facility. Some of the institutes have got their own
students halls for international students but most of the independent
colleges do not have their own student residence and in such a case the
concerned college will assist the students to find a suitable
accommodation at a convenient place near the college / university.

Q.
Am I able to work on part time basis while studying abroad?
|
|
A.
You are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week on part time basis. in
England, Ireland, Scotland and Australia. interED can help you with
detail information about this.

Q. When do the courses commence in UK & Australia and
Ireland ?
|
|
A.
Universities
of UK, Australia and Ireland generally accept applications twice in a year for
classes commencing from February or September. The applicants must
apply for Visa at least 2 months prior to course commencement date.

Q.
Where should I submit my applications for admission ?
|
|
A.
All applicants have to submit their applications for
admission at interED office. We will arrange admission for our
applicants. For applying for a visa students must submit visa
applications at the local concerned High Commission / Embassies of the
respective countries. All necessary information can be obtained from
interED about it.

Q.
Do I have to have IELTS for studying abroad ?
|
|
A.
Though it is not officially mandatory to have IELTS for
studying in UK universities or College but all the colleges and universities of UK have
there own requirements for IELTS. Beside this IELTS/TOEFL proves the
English standard of the applicant and this is why the British High
Commission take the matter into consideration while issuing one visa.
Australian government has made it mandatory for the international
students to have IELTS score before they make applications to any
Australian Universities or Colleges.

What are the financial requirements from sponsors by the High
Commission?
|
|
A.
You have to provide
documentary evidence (Bank Statements or Fixed deposits) showing that
your sponsor’ ability to fund
|

When does the courses commence in UK?
|
|
A.
Generally courses in the Uk universities
commence mainly in September though some universities also have a
admission session in the month of January. If you wish to enroll in
January session, please check with interED to find which courses are
available.

Q.
How can i be confirm about my qualification if it is recognized in the
UK? |
A.
You can check yourself the equivalence of Bangladesh qualifications with
those in the UK by contacting the National Recognition Information
Centre for the UK (UK NARIC). Beside this we are always beside you in
advising you properly in this regard. Please contact with us about this.
You can also have the necessary information at the Dhaka British Council
office. |

Q.
Do I have to appear physically before the entry clearance officer
for a visa interview? |
|
A.
This entirely depends on the decision of the visa
officer assessing your application. Mostly straightforward applications
are processed without an interview. However it is the prerogative of the
high commission to ask you or exempt you from an interview.

Q.
Is it tough to get Visas?
|
|
A.
Student visas are comparatively easy to obtain. Most of the applicants
from our country who provide an unconditional offer from a UK University
and required evidence of financial supports for tuition fees and living
expenditures are issued UK visas. Please note interED will offer all
sorts of cooperation and services so that the applicants feel it
confidence in gaining visas.

Q. Will
interED check
my documents before i submit these
for visa interview?
|
|
A.
interED
will go through all the documents to ensure that these are genuine.
After confirmation about the authenticity submitted to the High local
British Commission /educational Institute are genuine in all respects.
In addition to this all the degrees and transcripts submitted are
verified from the issuing authorities. Furthermore, interED ensures the
bona-fides of all the students before lodgment of visa application,
applying through interED will reduce processing time as well as risk of
rejection as we don't solicit incomplete or dubious applications.

Q.
Can I stay in the
UK to work after I finish my study? |
|
A.
It
may be possible for the students to stay in the
UK for
practical training or work experience or for full time employment
under the 'Training and Work Experience Scheme', employers can apply for
permits to employ the students in a particular post for a limited period
for work experience or for professional training.
The Government has also relaxed its policy on students staying on in the
UK after completion of their studies under the main Work Permit scheme.

Q.
Will I get a refund if my Visa is refused? |
|
A.
If
your visa is refused and you have paid a deposit to your institution for
tuition fees then you will receive a refund of the deposit when you send
the institution a copy of your visa refusal letter from the High
Commission. A few institutions deduct a small amount usually no more
than £100 for processing the refund payment.

Q.
Do I need to pay any advance deposit to the institution prior to gaining
my UK visa? |
|
A.
Some Universities and Colleges require the international students to pay
a part of the tuition fees in advance in order to reserve a place for
them. Anyway we recommend that all students should make a deposit
payment as it facilitates in getting a student visa since we believe
this process will help the students tremendously in obtaining a UK visa.
