Halls of
residence are mainly on campus and range from Victorian houses
to modern purpose built units. Rooms are single and many have
en suite facilities whilst the others have a washbasin and
shared communal bathrooms. In most cases common areas are also
provided where students can make hot drinks and wash crockery
and utensils. Irons and ironing boards are provided for
residents to use. Students are required to vacate their rooms
during the Christmas and Easter holidays (except John Milton
Hall).
These properties
are mainly on or very close to campus and usually accommodate
six students who would share the kitchen, bathroom and dining
area. Most bedrooms are single with a washbasin. Students are
not required to vacate during Christmas and Easter holidays. These properties are on the main campus or a short walk from the campus and accommodate between ten and fourty students. Kitchens and communal areas are provided. Most bedrooms are single with a few having their own toilet and en-suite facilities. Students are not required to vacate during Christmas and Easter holidays (except John Milton Hall). There is some other types of accommodations like private sector accommodations ,host family etc. which international students can avail. University authority will provide all sorts of assistance to the students. |
